Today was parents day at Cody's summer camp. We started by having a light breakfast, then the owner took us to a beautiful area where we did some relaxation exercises. We then went for a hike, and this is the path we took. The kids take this path also.

I did the zip line with Cody, but don't have them on my digital camera, they gave us the photos there. Here we are dancing with our kids.

There is a butterfly house, and Cody and his friend are looking at the growth process of a butterfly.
The little ones are finger painting.
Cody and his friend with a bunny and cuyo.
Sheep.
A python snake. I held it too, first time in my life.
There is also a bird house, where the kids water the plants and take care of the birds.
Cody mountain biking.
We got to jump rope, just the parents, it was a blast!
We did this too, and I won the mom I was up against. You hit each other with pillows until someone falls off.
She lost.
The dads.
This is a mom, Sandra, that I had fun with today. She was patient with my spanish, and asked for our email address because her daughter pictured here, Andrea, would like to write to Cody. They just moved to Cuernavaca a month ago from another part of Mexico. We had lunch together, and Bolis after our day was over with the kids.
Today after school we visited a group foster home. It's not an orphanage, but these kids have been taken from their parents for abuse and neglect.
Their swimming pool with no water and a bunch of junk.
The trash behind the fountain that doesn't work.
The kids patiently waiting.

The nutrition students from Metro put on a little skit about eating healthy. The performed it in Spanish, and the kids really enjoyed it.
After their performance, the students gave the kids balls. Futbols and bouncy balls. They were really excited. I donated money for groceries for them, as did other students.
The girls can't get the balls out of the bag fast enough.

We also brought new nets for their basketball hoops. The boys are patiently waiting for Cisco to get the net on.
Cody is helping this boy open the string on his new futbol.
We stayed and played and played.
Cody having fun.
Cisco helping this little guy make a basket.

Cisco helping another little boy score some points.
John and Cisco help make teams. The boy in the white shirt is 13, when we told him Cisco was 14 he couldn't believe it.

Rufi sharing his kindness.
Cody and Naomi, the maid's daughter. She follows Cody around everywhere, and she talks up a storm. She's really cute.
"Champion", or "Champi" for short. The family dog. He's bilingual. No joke.

Today after school we decided to do the tourist thing and take the tour bus around Cuernavaca. It was fun, and I captured some pictures that show the true beauty of this town. It's so green and pretty.
We sat on top of the double decker, and they played music while guys like this one danced.
Statue of Benito Juarez.
