We have arrived in Cholula, Mexico. This church sits at the top of the pyramids we are visiting.
We are walking through tunnels INSIDE the pyramids, that archeologists dug many years ago.
These pyramids are said to be the oldest in Mexico, being constructed around 200 A.D.
This is the pyramid we are walking through in the tunnels on the second level.
If you turn your head to the left, you will see the stairs descending up to another level of the pyramid.
This is what the pyramid looks like today. The volcano at one time had erupted and the ashes buried the pyramids. Now, vegetation grows on the top of them.
