The school had a party for the American students and the host families on Monday. They celebrated the 4th of July for us. Pictured is Marta, our host mother ,and Bruce, the head of the nutrition department at Metro. They are wanting to start a program in the US for the mexicans that live there that is nutrition based. Turns out Marta is very important here in Mexico, holds a Master's degree, and is a professor of nutrition and runs a department with the CDC version here in Mexico.
